Can I Sleep In A Waist Trainer?
Listen, we get it. When you get your first waist trainer, you will want to wear it all the time. It feels great, you look great and you can feel it working. If you’re like me, I started thinking it made sense the longer I wore it, the quicker I’d see results, right?
So can you sleep in a waist trainer?
After doing some research of my own, it seems to come down to the individual. Some people can sleep wearing a trainer comfortably, others cannot and find it too restrictive. When I started wearing it at first, it felt a little too uncomfortable, so I eased into it. For example, I’d wear it while I was watching tv at night, while I brushed my teeth, etc. I would only take it off as I got into bed. But as time went on, I eventually worked my way up into sleeping with it through the night. If you plan on sleeping in your trainer, it might be best to get an adjustable one, or a looser one to start with. You can then progress to a tighter model for day wear.
I wound up purchasing the Ann Chery 2021 3 Hooks waist trainer for sleeping. It was not only comfortable, but on nights where I felt more full, or bloated from my period I was able to adjust it accordingly.
In about 3 weeks after wearing it at night I really started seeing changes, and I began getting comfortable in my new routine. I wouldn’t recommend sleeping in your waist trainer all year long, but if you have a wedding coming up or trying to look at sexy as possible before a beach holiday/summer, then you’ll love your results.

As someone who does it, just remember it’s SO important you take things slow rather than jumping in at the deep end. I take a break on the weekends, because it’s not healthy to wear it 24/7. Don’t forget to let your body breathe and actually enjoy the results your waist trainer has brought you. As always, listen to your body and seek medical attention before making any serious changes to your regime.
